Squeak in rear of 2006 4Runner Sport

So I've noticed a squeak in the rear of my 2006 4Runner Sport whenever taking a turn since I got it 2 months ago. It will only do it once in any given direction, so if I turn left, it will squeak, if the next turn I make is a left then it will not squeak but if the next turn I make is a right, then it will squeak again, sort of like something is shifting from one side to the other so once it shifts once, it won't do it again, it will only shift back to the other side. Anyways, I assumed it was the spare tire, so I tried tightening it, loosening it, spraying the spring and cable with WD40, even removing it altogether, none of it helped. I'm really at a loss here, I can shake the back of the truck from left to right and here it but I STILL can't tell from where it is coming, it appears to be in or around the rear bumper, anyone else ever have or currently have this problem? Let me know, any help is appreciated, thanks!

Rear Hatch? Same year and model here, that is the only place I've heard a peep from.

you should try lubing up all the links (uppers, lowers and panhard bar) and then go from there :hungry::hungry::hungry:

I get a little side-to-side thump/rub noise that seems to be my retractable cargo area cover... I'm going to take it out to see if the noise goes away.

For about a month and a half I've heard a little "ching-ching-tingle" kind of noise that was driving me nuts! When I just relocated my rear diff breather into the jack storage area, I found a little rubber strap with the metal clip on it just dangling there like a little bell. Now my jack handle stuff is strapped down nice and tight.

Noise stuff is very hard to help thru online. Everyone here will throw their "guessing". If that noise is bothering you, your best bet is take it to local shop to check around for you. But here is what i will look for if i do hear noise, 1. make sure all the bolts are tight (shocks, swaybar, endlink etc) 2. Clean the suspension area, and spray lub again very carefully, make sure it dry before you take it to test drive.

Also just to me, WD40 isn't good lub for car. Here is what i use for stuck bolts, spray rubber etc etc.

I have a similar squeak on my 2007 and it rarely happens but it sounds like it is coming from the hatch.
