sr5 or limited?

Purchased the Limited for awd due to a spin out we had while heading up to the mountains to go snowboarding with my 9yr old son in our 99 t4r. Roads were clear until we got near the slopes which had black ice. Spun out hit a parked suv on our passenger side front where my son was sitting and also hit a pedestrian. All are ok. AWD would have came in handy during the time. Good luck with your choice.

I didn't like the feel of the SR5. I come from only unibodies. So, I wrote off the 4 Runner. Couldn't commit to a Highlander (no passion). Frustrated, I went back to the dealer to "..make the 4 Runner work." All the dealer had was a Limited. Got in, and realized that the X-REAS suspension was a completely different feel/animal. Loved it. Quiet until wife said, "Hey this is different. I like this." Done deal.

thanks for all the feedback...im leaning to the limited..id rather have it now than wishes i had it in a few months..i guess the lift can wait a little while...im going to try and find a good 2011 on sale right after the 2012s come out...

party mode is 99% of the reason i must have the limited

That is exactly right! That is why I bought it too! Seriously speaking though- just get the Limited! I was in the exact same boat and figured that if I am going to spend the money anyway, let me get one with all the features instead of later regretting that I did not have this that or the other. After having made the decision, I spent 6 more months putting together additional down payment so that I could go with the Limited. I have to say that I love the beast!

My sr5 also has the party button thank you very much :flipoff: sorry, I just really like this little guy he really spoke to me, nothing personal to anybody.
