Stay Crome or Black Crome?

Hi all. Since I found good black crome paint, I'm thinking to paint crome parts to Black crome.
Which one do you guys like better?

It would look nice if the paint is done well and doesn't chip or flake off easily since once it does that it will look cheap and you'll wish you didn't do it.

Thanks for your comment. I thought so and I am thinking to use two-pack urethane clear on it. I am going to test it this weekend

Or have the chrome parts powdercoated in black or gunmetal grey.

I have to agree with AK602. I don't think you'll be happy with painting the chrome parts. The chrome offsets your dark plum paint job very well. Also, it is real tough to get black to come out right. I noticed you mentioned urethane, which will give it a nice gloss, but success with this paint job will come from the prep work. Remember, black shows even the slightest imperfection.
