Stealership warning! Don't get ripped off

I knew there was markup on dealer accessories. But I had no idea how much! This was a list of accessories on a 2015 tundra. They had a similar set up on a 4Runner but it sold quickly as they can't keep the runner stocked. I price checked everything I had time for and the biggest shocker was the 4600 they were asking for wheels and tires!!! Holy crap! Leveling kit $1000!?!? Moral of the story? Save yourself "$7000" in accessories and get the same for $3K

UPDATE: I didn't realize I cut the price off of the rigid industries 20" light bar but it was in the $600's and they're asking $1400

$1,400 light bar is some funny stuff.

They get away with this shit because people who cannot afford it are able to finance the accessories.... Same holds true for houses and any other big ticket item you can think of. Doing it after the sale is almost always cheaper. I'm sure the market is pretty small in AK also.

The first 4Runner I was looking at had NFAB steps that the dealer was charging $1300 for!

The local dealer wanted $48,000 for a Tacoma with a mild lift, cheap chrome wheels and tires.

Another dealer wanted $52,000 for a 4runner SR5 4x4 with similar add-ons.

This is my second new vehicle I've purchased, when I was 16 I purchased an 06 civic si new, didn't really have any factory add one for it other than rim options but I was okay with the stock ones and didn't really notice.

Then went from a civic>09 tacoma>07 dodge 3500 diesel>2010 Taurus>now this 4Runner which will be a keeper. But only the first car and this one will be "new" I just couldn't believe people were paying for things at these costs. Hell aftermarkets on a Credit card would be cheaper than this.

Oh yeah there are a lot of ignorant people that'll pay for the overpriced add ons. They just see the monthly payments when it's added in, I guess it's easier for those who can't afford to add stuff later on, idk.
