Steering question

So keep in mind I haven't torn into anything to see if the OTE are tapered.

With the lift installed the OTE are at a pretty good angle. It looks to me like a guy could just flip them to the top of the ball joint instead of the bottom. Is there a reason no one has tried this?

I have searched btw.

For the record, it can be done. I have used a tapered reamer on steering arms and bought larger diameter taper rod ends to match. The difficulty is as the taper gets larger, so usually does the threaded end.

I have no idea if there is such a possibility with the 3rd Gen. Just trying to answer your question, which you did actually.
