Steering Spacer

Solely a steering shaft spacer? May want to provide a bit more info but I'll hold your hand. If you're planning on adding a body lift, it will depend on the size of the pucks which will determine if you even need the steering shaft spacer. Unsure of why you'd only add that spacer to begin with just judging by your signature.

A previous thread that I asked about my steering wheel being hard to turn. I ordered a new steering shaft part number 45203-60181 and just wanted to make sure the problem got fixed. That's why I wanted to add the spacer, but from what you guys say I don't need it.

Better to have more info :) now I understand better and I will not get one. If it is only meant for body lift not suspension lift.

Thanks guys.

Your steering feeling a bit heavier most likely had to do with the larger tires. You don't need a steering shaft spacer after adding only some different coilovers. All good.

The Spydertrax spacers will also make a little difference on steering effort.

I have the lift for a bout 1 year + and spacer for more than 4 years ..... Nope that's not it. Dealer told me it was the the steering yoke shaft used... I asked him write me the part number for price. Got it from you guys. Will have it installed and see if problem will be fixed.

My trouble started a month ago...

Just asking around on the forum :) I don't ( Trust Dealers ) hehe

You sir Nailed it. That's what the 2nd Toyota dealer told me. Retail price in Montreal is 475$ + 15% Taxe. I won't talk about labour... I got it from the States for 165 US$ and with ... Exchange Duty and Shipping I still got almost 200$ savings ......

I miss Florida and Cali :/
