Steering wheel wonky...

Driving along and all of sudden while turning my steering gets light then heavy through the turn. Pulled over and same thing happens when not moving.

Basically, the steering is normal/light weight, then it gets heavy for like a quarter of a turn, then normal/light, then heavy, then normal....the steering pump is not whining at all.

Anyone have any theories...and of course this happens on the last day of my warranty lol :lookout::lookout::lookout::lookout:

Wonky Steering

Sorry to hear about your steering issue... I assume this is a 5th gen since you said it is was still under warranty for one more day. Have you had it checked out at the dealer and what did they determine?

I'm seeing more steering related issues on this forum with 4runners that it seems we should be seeing.
