STIFLER IS BACK! Build Thread

..... and for when my Dad is in town

So you do know who he is? :drum:

(Thought we should get started off right)

I was wondering about you the other day Stiffy - as I drove through Tampa.

Holy Mother - the traffic on I75 !!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and welcome back. You do realize that you are now the OFFICIAL go to guy for those 'what should I buy, 4R or Jeep' threads?

Welcome back Stifler!!!!

Now I know you will beat me to some of the needed comments!
I couldn't take your place I must have been typing in the wrong font, people would get offended!

Anyway, glad you are back!!!! :D

The "Return" beware all noobs & get some grease for your bootay's !!! Thank God some of the LAMEST well nice to have your biting whit back ! Oh ya nice build

Not even three months, clearly you are a smart dude to realize the folly of your ways so fast and run back to the 4Runner. Now get to work on that thing...

Welcome back!
Great choice... Too bad the parts are very, very, limited for the 3rd row models, since the wheelbase is longer, nothing fits.... That Gobi will not fit.. you may want to get a Drabbits instead.....:lalala:
Wonder if that's the same issue with the 2013

-Are you ****ing kidding me?

lol I still laugh every time I see the trade on value on my brothers 94, 4cyl Wrangler with 180k. In Colorado, they are made of gold.

so now to get to the build portion lol

On order:

Gobi Stealth w/ladder
Weather Tech Mats

For the lift, I am keeping it mild as this will be for overlanding (family travel). Thinking no more than 2" and probably stock sized KO2s. At this point I am thinking 5100s again

I did the same thing after my 3rd Gen kicked the bucket, purchased a 2014 JKU. Nice truck (much better than the 2007 I had too) but it just didn't do it for me. I too came back to the 4Runner and love it.

this is on the verge of being moved to general discussion...:blah:

before that happens, can we at least augment http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/167077-jgc-vs-4runner-can-we-sticky.html with this:
...traded the 2011 SR5 in on a 2015 Jeep Unlimited. Great vehicle but I quickly realized after 1 highway trip what I was missing about the 4runner. Umph and comfort. :hail:

So anyway the other day I took the Jeep to have it lifted etc and after being quoted $4200 I was like WTF am I doing. That would build a bad ass 4R!

So with only 2200 on the odo the Jeep is going bye bye and this is my new set of wheels. 2015 SR5 4x4 w/3rd row (yes I like 3rd row and I am ordering a Gobi).

To top it off I got $600 more in trade than I paid OTD on the Jeep!

I LOVE JEEP! they have always treated me well, but my 2011 4runner hands down is the best all around vehicle I have ever owned and I am sure my 2015 will be that and more!

welcome back. no court should be without its jester.

welcome back buddy.

This'll be the longest build thread ever, with the least work done, frankly I'm surprised you let him back in.

Oh and 5th gen, 5th gen, 5th gen...:guitar2:

maybe some TURDPro wheels and grill lol

Well it was no Pro grill for me, but I did do the TRD Pro wheels in black because they were a bit lighter and didn't really need extra width because I was staying stock tire size with KO2's.

Now it's a black truck! :D
