Stock 18" Wheels on Limited

Etremo04 posted a picture of his/her new Limited with STOCK 18"x7.5" wheels in the 5th gen T4R (owner's) picture thread. He's located in the Dominican Republic, so I'm not sure if we can even get them.

Anyone know how to get these? Can my Toyota parts department order them? Part #?

Just called my parts department; he said they couldn't order them unless there was a U.S. parts number available.

He double-checked in his system and said the only wheels available were the 20" stock wheels and the 17" TRD wheels.

Predictable answer.

They come on 2012 Tacoma's. Just search "18 tacoma wheels" on ebay...some 'yota dealer has them listed from time to time.

Toyota's website says the 18" Tacoma wheels are chrome-clad -- definitely don't want that. The wheels on Etremo04's look to be a brushed aluminum or matte finish.

Thanks for doing the homework OP. I do agree that they are awesome, I love the look of the 20's but the tire selection is a fail. If we can do a group buy some how, I am down.

Oddly enough they look undersized imo... worse than the SR5 wheels for some reason.

For what you might pay for new OEM wheels, why not go aftermarket?

Can't find similar aftermarket, only thing that comes close are the MHT KRANK's

I dont like all that chrome and shiny ish...

I prefer to stay with an OEM wheel. Can't really explain why -- just a neurotic preference I have.

The "chrome clad" part of the Tacoma wheels is actually a plastic "hubcap" type of cover held on by the lug nuts. The wheels on that Runner look to be the Tacoma wheels without the chrome clad trim piece. I've seen pics of them without the chrome over at TacomaWorld but just did a quick search and couldn't find them, feel free to search around over there. I did see a couple of post with them for sale though.

Thanks for the suggestion, Qjake. I posted a reply to one of the threads on TacomaWorld asking for pictures from people who've taken the plastic chrome piece off. If anyone posts pics, I'll post the link here.
