Stock 1st gen 4runner speakers?

Hey I found these layin in the bed of an 86 4runner in a junk yard. Are these stock speakers. If so can anyone tell me how to hook them up. I know the 2 white are speakers, the black is ground. One of the other has to be power. I'm not looking for anything with spectacular sound just wannna hear some noise while driving and since I have them I'll use em.

They are ampified speakers, and I don't think Toyta had any stereos systems like that in 86.
But the size looks about right for the dash speakers.

x2. that wasn't the stock speaker, but it does look like it would fit the front mounts. i have pics of the entire 1st gen stereo wiring and installation, was well as rear speakers and a sub if you want..

I know this is an old post....

I just removed my rear panels, and those are exactly what were installed in the back of my '87. Based on the way they are wired, it's very clear that they were factory, and not added later. The wires are bundled right in with the rear wiring harness, and are hooked up with wire connectors that are of the same style as all the rest of the truck...

Someone had previously installed 6x9s in the wall by the rear seat and run new wires to them, leaving the wiring harness for the factory speakers intact, but disconnected... I may give them a try to see how they sound...

These may have been an upgrade option, included with a 'premium sound' package. I know they are different than what was in my '86, though that was a deluxe model, and this one is the SR5 with seemingly every option available.

I'm going to spend some time working on the truck this week... I'll put a meter into the wires and see what's what... I'm guessing you're right on the power and ground though...

I'm interested to hear what the sound quality is like...

Ok great let me know how it goes please. I think that just leaves one wire left that we don't know where it goes. Is it the blue one?
