Strona Bull Bar input

wanted to know how everyone likes there Strona Bull Bar so far.
thinking of getting one soon and wanted to know where is the best place to buy them. Looks nice but does it do the job as well?

The bar is holding up well and I haven't noticed any rust. I do have the truck garaged though. The bar is solidly mounted and doesn't wiggle or flop around when you grab it and shake it. It will actually shake the entire truck. But keep in mind that it's still cosmetic and any impact greater than a parking lot bump will likely damage the bar and/or the truck's bumper. I got the bar to deter idiots from parking by feel.

There isn't many dealers/retailers that carry Strona. You can contact the Dean at Car Mic, 800-229-4950. He was the vendor that sold to many of the members here.

thanks for your feedback. From alll the one I see here ths is one of the better looking one. Dont think there are any that will hold up really as it will cause frame damage if it did so not a big deal.
How much did you pay for it?

:iagree:, the style has to be the best. It was a love at first sight for me. I paid $120 plus shipping to CA, $160 total. It was part of the groupbuy thread. Also, you can try searching eBay for Intrigued, who's Car-Mic. It would've been cheaper for me off eBay, $140 plus $15 shipping. But we (myself and members here) had problems trying to get these bars, so a groupbuy was set to persuade the distributor to get the bars imported. There's a lengthy thread in General Discussions about the ordeal.

The bull bar looks great! I just got mine installed last week. It took about 45min to install and I love it

The Strona Bull bar on my 4 Runner causes it to draw some looks. I do have a wee bit rust on the light mounting brackets. I, unfortunately did not protect the bar with a chrome polish or wax coating after putting it on.
I also had a slight alignment issue with one the LHS mounting brackets as it did not align with the frame hole properly. I just dremeled out the frame's hole so it would fit. One should do this to the bracket but I did not have a vise type device to hold the metal bracket while I dremel the heck out of it.

All in all I am very satisfied as I too participated in the group buy from this site. I also purchased the chrome tube steps from the same supplier. I'm about to add the chrome half rear hitch step to the rear. I just haven't decided whether I want the step with or without the red tail light built into it. I'm thinking of going without as I think the light is just a bit too much. I'd recommend this buy to anyone as this is a good STRONG bull bar.
