Sunroof light switch question

I just got a 2011 Toyota 4Runner SR5 a month or so ago. I have searched, but haven't found an answer.

Should the sunroof switches in the overhead console light up at night so you can see them?

Some of the other switches light up, such as A TRAC, DSC, etc. So it seems weird that those don't light up.

Anyone have an answer for me?

No, you can not. What is worse is that once you get into the 4R at night you are stuck inside it until daylight because the door handle does not light up either! Bring snacks!
