sunroof+roof basket airflow problem

recently installed yakima megawarrior on my runner and am trying to get more airflow through my sunroof with the back window open like i used to, have tried searching and most of the threads were about wind noise. dont really have a problem with wind noise just wish i could get that nice airflow through the interior like i used to with just the roof slid back and back window open a little without having to open side windows. i do have a wind fairing installed on my basket and have pushed the box farther back to try and get more airflow. Does anyone else have any suggestions to get the airflow closer to stock?

How is the basket positioned on the roof? My fairing starts just after the sunroof, and I don't have any issues getting the airflow you're referring to (and I also enjoy).

i was just thinking of this

i am thinking of getting a rack and was thinking of how i might be able to get more air flow coming in the sunroof. and what i have come up with is to make some brackets for the wind deflector to move it forward and point down so it will direct the air into the sunroof.

Take off the basket when you're not using it.

I find it odd you're having problems with a lack of airflow. I have a megawarrior+extension that I mount as danoT4R shows and notice a significant increase is the amount of air forced into the cabin with the sunroof open. To be fair I haven't tested it with the rear window down, I'll have to try it out next time I put it on. Try driving with the rear window up and see what happens.

have it installed with the fairing right behind the sunroof like in the picture i usually rol the window back and open the sunroof to get airflow through the cabin for the people in the back as well, when i raise the sunroof i get airflow straight down onto me which is alright but am really trying to get airflow through the cabin with the back window open havent tried to open sunroof with out the back window open, my only solution to get the airflow through is to open side windows to change pressure and air flows through nice but a tad to noisy and am trying to get airflow through the cabin not just on my head, i kinda dont want to remove the basket as i like the looks and like to leave it up there but that would be a way to get it back to stock airflow
