So my friends and I installed the supercharger on my 99 limited last night. Ran really nice when I went for a test drive. Well this morning it was not pleased with me I threw about 9 codes, apart of it is because I didn't pull my efi or disconnect the battery. But I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced any theses codes after the install and what they did to resolve the issue. Thanks guys I'm still a rookie at this so hang with me haha

The lean code is most likely a vacuum leak. I'd take some brake fluid and spray around to see if you can find anything.

Don't we have to have the stealership flash our ecu's after install? that is what the 4.0l had to do?

No we don't. Our ECU's don't require any flashing for the supercharger to function properly. The p0171 is an intake air leak. Check your throttle body is torqued to specs, check your intake is tight and check that your mass air is tight. Use some brake cleaner while the car is running and spray a bit around the intake and throttle body by the gaskets and fittings(not directly on electrical items) and if your car idles up a bit then you have an air leak at that point you sprayed it. The p0100, p0110, p0010 and p0120 are almost all related to your throttle body and intake being disconnected while your key was turned on. Reset them and make sure all your electrical plugs are connected and snapped into place. The p0130 and p0133 are O2 codes and are unrelated, you may have an O2 sensor on it's way out, but those can last for a while like that before they actually all out fail.

Thanks you just made me feel a he'll of a lot better about those codes

Yep stock pulley. I have the dynamic pulley if some wants to buy it. Where the top bolt on the bracket goes into the block was full of rust and dirt and stripped

Are you selling the bracket, bolts and pulley or just the pulley? I might be interested.

BTW, I had a P0171 and it was a loose vacuum line. As stated, check all those connections for that one or clean the MAF.

Neato! that was one of my reasons for not doing it! One step closer to spending way too much money lol

It's bracket and pulley, the top bolt needs some love It wouldn't come out so the head is a little stripped. But bottom bolt should be ok.

So now I'm only pulling a lean code, could it be because I don't have the 7th injector? Or what can I do to avoid doing a 7th injector?

Your not running lean because you don't have the 7th injector. Many people in Denver and high elevation run the stock pulley as well as a smaller 2.2 pulley with no 7th and do great with no pinging or leaning out. Are you running the Ik22 plugs?

Also, do you have an aftermarket intake or stock? You sure you checked all your hoses, connections, and plugged all the proper ports? Also, completely separate but to avoid running lean(not the p0171 but actually running lean w/o CEL) you can do a water/meth kit and it's only about $250 for a kit.

No I'm not, I'm new at this haha. Explain what running this plug will do please

I have the stock box with the deck plate mod. Deck plate is never capped, yes we followed the diagram+ my buddy aka mrhentoni helped and we used his sc to verify the line being in the correct place.

Yep, I'd be doing the plugs asap. But, the plugs wouldn't cause the P0171, so although your lines are all in the correct places, have you verified that none of them are cracked or leaking? Did you do the TRD throttle body gasket or did you reuse your factory throttle body gasket? If you used your factory gasket it can very well be your issue right there as well.

No I didn't use that gasket, I got the sc second hand. And can find it on trd. Where could I find it? Or did I not look hard enough on trd. Also just a side note it is surging. It did that before sc install but it has gotten worse any thoughts? Once again I'm a rookie. Haha
