I have been looking at replacing the front with an Shrockworks front.. but due to limited budget.. Is been hold off...

on top of all this..

woke up this morning and went got the paper..

saw this..

and this..

is been less than 2 months since it was changed.. grrr

so I'm going back to my mechanic next week and fix it.. hopefully is the seals that went bad.. is just so frustrating...

If you haven't done the diff breather mod, now would be a good time so the pressure doesn't blow another seal.

Yes sir, very easy and cheap mod. Good preventive maintenance since that's usually what blows rear seals.

little update..

went to my mechanic who perform the worked on it.. and I be back at this shop on friday to have this sorted out.. I just don't understand why it leaked already.. I figure when I was doing the passenger side, it won't hurt to replace the drivers side since is apart already.. but I didn't expect it to leak that soon...

since my rig was in the shop for 4 days.. the tech couldn't around to change out the atf, transfer case and front diff fluids.. the shop that pressed out my bearings took literally forever.. and driving my girls audi is cool and all but I rather be driving my rig..

I hope is just the seals and I be in and out of there friday morning..

on top of this.. I be switching out the coolant, changing out the break and power steering fluid... along with new ac, alternator and power steering belts..

hopefully this week I can gather up the parts to do that mod.. I haven't got around to call the shops for those 2 parts... but man.. is like an never ending project lol

yeah tell me about it drew..

I figure since I had an day off.. start the morning right.. grab the paper and make some coffee.. open my front door and about to get the paper.. and then saw the oil..

on the bright side.. it comes with an year warranty..

I just hope it isn't the brake shoes or the bearings.. otherwise.. is going to suck.. if its the seals.. I be alright but if not.. oh boy..

so an little update..

went to my mechanic yesterday and had the seals re-done.. and on top of that..

I had him change out the transfer case, transmission, rear diff. front diff, power steering, brake and coolant.. needless to say.. I was there for an good day of it..

when the coolant came out.. it was not quite red lol... but other than that.. she is good to go..

tonight though.. going to give her an oil change and lube the drivelines..

hey buddy, got a question for ya. I'm about 90% sure i'm getting the duratracs for my next tire. Same as your 265 75 16's. My question is, what did you do about the spare? did you buy 5 tires or what?

atm. I didn't have enough dough to buy the matching spare.. but hopefully, after the tax returns.. I should be able to replace the spare with an 75 series tires..

Yeah. I think scrunner mentioned it on his thread.

With tax and lifetime warranty, I paid about $896 after $80 dollars rebate otd; however, without the warranty.. It would be around $776..

Jared, where have you looked so far? What's the pricing like?

I was looking at some online pricing so far if i remember right they have been around 200 to 210 a tire. I'm gonna start going to some shops when i get around to it. Discount has been pretty good to me, so i might use them again.

I'm thinking if i jump on some new tires now while i have 20% tread left on my old ones, i can sell theses for some cash to cut down the price a little.

that's not bad.. I paid about $180 an tire and Discount tire is where I got mine.. So far after 5k miles on it.. it still looks pretty new..

do that.. I couldn't sell mine since it was down to the wear bar already.. and that will be the last time I will ever see 265/70/16 in bfg a/t in load range D's..

they are available online but I'm not going to pay $240 for an tire..
