11. Forestry service maps

13. Glock19
14. First aid kit
When me and my wife and kid take longer trips I throw a couple MRE's in the vehicle and a gallon of water.
But after reading this story and see all the stuff BlairB has in the other thread I might need to revise my provisions alittle bit better safe then sorry.

I'm largely in line with hamiltonj2w1. But I'm waiting for my Henry AR7 Rifle to come in. Henry Repeating Arms | Fine Rifles Made in America and Priced Right
.22LR is quite useful for taking down small game and you can carry a ton of round for very little weight. My 9MM is nice for up close, but most people will not hit rabbit at 40 yards with it. because the Henry is broken down into the stock it's also less likely to piss off your local LEO.
Pretty cheap investment at $275 and your local Air Force crews use them too, so it can't be all crap.
