Suspension 3rd gen HELP! (first time poster!)

Hey everyone, first time poster here, love the forum! A wealth of knowledge from some great members here thats for sure.

Im hoping someone can guide me a little with some questions i have about my suspension. I appologize as im sure bits and pieces of this info (answers) no doubt is scattered throughout other posts; however, i havent quite figured out how to successfully gather this info or navigate the forum properly.

I have a 2000 SR5 and am looking to replace the shocks/struts. I have eyed up the "Bilstein 5100's" because they are an HD shock and are height adjustable.

My question to the other members here is this:

Am I able to purchase these 5100's and install them on my stock 2000?

Am I able to do this using my stock springs and everything else?

Will I see any lift out of doing this with the stock equipment and 5100's installed?

I would like a little lift in the near future and hoping maybe i can acheive this with this install??

I noticed others mentioned something about FJC springs later? (FJC = FJ cruiser i take it?)

Any help with this is hugely appreciated as i am looking to replace my, what are probably 14 year old shocks, with good replacements but hopefully gain a little lift in the meantime.

Couple side notes tho for anyone willing to help me out... Id like to ideally spend no more than the new shocks/struts for now.... And aswell im not interested in any kind of block lifting or bushings or anything like that. If im going to lift it i would like to do so properly with longer shocks and springs so everythings solid.

I just wanted to say thank you for using legible spacing (paragraph style) and formatting in your post. I get so tired of 10,000 word posts where I have no idea what the question is and there is no spacing between points.

Don't use any FJ coils or shocks. That is bad info.

Your shocks and coils are 14 years old. They shot .. garbage .... time to throw them out!

I would wait until you have enough cash to replace the shocks and coils together. Don't just replace one and not the other. Do it right the first time.

If you are looking for a lift I'd recommend the Sonoran Steel 1.2 Kit with adjustable front Bilstiens and Land Cruiser shocks in the rear. I have that and its great. I've had the setup since summer 2007. The setup goes for about $1300 and is all Toyota parts .. very reliable .... no sagging or failure expected. That is a 10+ yr suspension setup.

if you are looking to keep stock and want to stick with Toyota parts then Google: Camelback Toyota Online Parts and order from them. Call if you need to get the parts numbers then put them in the website and order. They sell real Toyota parts (cause they are a real dealership) but at 30% off MSRP vs local dealers that sell ABOVE MSRP.
