Suspension help for an 01

Hi all, the stock suspension on my 01 Runner is really starting to get sagged out, the center hub to fender measurements are barely scraping 20" and the front is almost an inch lower than the rear. I'm almost sold on doing Monroe quick struts in the front because of the price and lifetime warranty, but am not sure what to do with the rears. It's between OME 906 and 99 Highlander springs. With the 99s, I'm afraid of sagging. With the 906s, I'm afraid of a super rough ride on the stock shocks. Any Ideas? I wouldn't say I'm looking to do this as cheap as possible, but I am trying to do it right without breaking the bank.

You'll get at least 100k miles out of the '99 springs before you have to worry about it sagging again. That's the route I went.

I own a 2 owner 99' runner.. 240k miles into it the rear shows no sign of sagging. Get a set of oem 99' tall if you want a little more than stock height. It should put you at 21" in the rear maybe a little more.

I picked a set up for $60 5-6 years ago.
No sag unless loaded with family, coolers, and camping gear in the roof box. Then it looks like this (still equipped with stock struts AFAIK)

Thanks for the help everyone! Just ordered a set of brand new 99 rears from a member on here. Although some more research has started swaying me from the quick struts. jeremyc74 don't you have them if I remembered right? how are they on road? Any quality issues so far? Another option would be to use Tundra 5100s up front with the stock coils. And the third (but most expensive) option would be to get a new set of front tall coils, but am wary of doing that because of the old shocks.

IMO, just do it right and get brand new OEM 99' coils front and rear, as well as new OEM struts/shocks front and rear. The ride quality will be stunning, especially when paired with some 265/75/16's in load range C at 30 PSI.

Replace your rear shocks too, the OEM Tokico's from Toyota of Dallas are only $35 each. It will get rid of the "bouncing" that old shocks and coils tend to do.

I also did not go with Monroe's due to longevity. I want my rig to last another 100k+ so I didn't want to change them again. The quick struts are nice since they are easy to install but I think you'll find them sagging again a few years down the road.

No I knew what you meant. I was just giving you a hard time for no reason. Used LC coils are a great budget build for a startup lift.
