I'm looking to do a light lift and shock replacement (intended use is light off-roading/overlanding, nothing hugely technical...primarily a daily driver). From what I've managed to search out, I think a set of 5100's all around is what I'm shooting for...fronts adjusted to 1.75", backs padded with a 1.5" spacer. Sound about right for my purposes? I don't really want to max out at 3" as a compromise nod to most my use being on freeways.
UCAs: When are they "required" to for use with a lift or for what terrain? I see plenty of people putting them on but not sure what the impetus for them is.
Springs: When is a coil swap/upgrade advised? Guessing when there's a lot of extra weight or the intent to get onto some gnarly terrain?
How would the added weight of say the SSS hybrid bumper and a winch impact my front suspension needs? Would that be the time that new coils would be a good idea/required? Not intending to do this in the near term, but can' hurt to plan longer term.
Shop: Anyone know of a reputable shop around the SF Bay Area (preferably South Bay, but i'll drive for good work at a good price) to have a lift and kit installed?
