Suspension parts maintenance

Is there any maintenance i need to be doing on my aftermarket suspension parts? i.e. coilovers, springs, UCA (total chaos)

Something in my front suspension components are very very squeaky, I'm thinking its my front coils. Any recommendations for fixing that?

Probably you UCA uniballs. Spray generously with tri-flow, it should go away pretty quickly if that is the problem.

As an alternative, I'm a big fan of Boeshield T-9.

My guess would be that the UCA's poly bushings need to be greased.

I'll second this. If poly bushings dry out, they can get VERY noisy.
I like redline sticky synthetic grease.

Your coilovers will need to be rebuilt at some point. Thats why we spend the extra coin on them- se we can rebuild instead of replace like the cheapo bilsteins. Most MFG's recommend every 6months, but that would only be realistic if we used these like they are meant. As a daily driver and light offroad vehicle, your front coilovers should last 5 years before you blow a seal and oil starts leaking. but that would not likely result in noise, just destroying the internals.

My UCA bushings are loud right now as well. Typically it seems to happen when it gets cold, kinda goes away once warm. I could probably throw some grease on mine as well. Just getting that round-to-it is the prob!

you will need to lift the front off the ground, remove the UCA off the frame, remove the bushings, clean and grease them, replace.
unless you have zerks on your UCA bushings.

if your just talking about the uniball or joint at the spindle, just spray it down. Wont make much difference how you apply it and it will not last long
