Suspension... what's next?

I've had Bilstein 5100s, front and rear, since soon after I purcahsed my 2011 SR5 some 10,000 miles ago. I have the fronts set at .85". I have really enjoyed the improvements that the 5100s provide.

I would like to increase the height of my ride. I don't want to just add spacers. I've looked at both the OW 2.0/2.5 kits and the Icon Stage 1. However, I wonder whether, since I already have the Bilstiein 5100 shocks, I could simply swap out front and rear springs (and increase the front 5100 setting) for a higher and maybe a bit stiffer ride? I expect that swapping out only springs would be less expensive.

Let's say I'd like to increase ride height by about 2".

What springs would do this?

Any thoughts or suggestions and how the off road performance of the Bilstein 5100s + new springs compare the the OW or Icon setups?

I would contact Toytec. They have been using the 5100s with their coil overs. They would put a partial kit together minus the 5100s. Lisa is pretty good to work with.

There is a new girl there (can't remember the name) that's dropped the ball with us once. But no biggie. Still a great company to deal with.

You can buy just their coil kit to give you a total of 3" or less lift.

or just do what I did and set your front at the max height of 2.5" use stock front springs and swap out the rear springs with superflex rear coils 2"

It seems cost is a concern - take the above advice. If cost is not an issue, look at Total Chaos's +2 LT for the FJ. I believe they are in the process of testing it on the 5g 4r. They also have a full rear adjustable suspension setup similar to icons, but at a fairer price, which they just tested on the 4r. The +2 system gives you all the lift you need, much more downtravel (I think they advertise 11" of travel while retaining 4wd), and no need for fiberglass fenders. I've seen the setup on an FJ - it looks, and as far as I've heard, works incredibly well.

Thanks Bourbonator. I spoke with ToyTec today and I'm going to use the ToyTec kit that Mijfwb23 pointed me to. This kit will convert the Bilstein front shocks that I already have into coilovers. I will also add ToyTex Superflex rear coils to compliment the Bilsteins I have in the back.
