Sway bar bushings length/width...

Replacing my bushings today.. Just removed the old bushings and am planning on installing the new ones but ran into something interesting..

The center hole in the bushings is the same size (30mm), but the width and height of the bushings is different... they are definitely skinner and a tiny bit taller than the old bushings. I bought the same ones that Nova used on his 07. (http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/155297-nova46s-build-thread.html#post1546996)

Does the length/width matter? or is the diameter of the hole the only thing that matters? It looks like they would hold the sway bar in virtually the same place.

But seriously, NO, length and width will not matter in your case. The aftermarket bushings that you purchased are polyurethane, which is a MUCH denser/stiffer material than the OEM rubber. If anything, they will give you more solid cornering than the OEM rubber.

I did not go through that Amazon listing with a fine tooth comb, but you have to make sure that the INNER DIAMETER of the hole is 29mm for the front. The rear of your Runner could have one of a few different diameters (mine is 21mm). Outside of that, it's only a matter of the U brackets fitting. If there are any doubts, GIVE THEM A CALL:
