I'm tired of listening to my sway bar clanging, and there doesn't seem to be much I can do about positioning it any better after installing a full Icon setup. I also added 700lb Eibach springs to the coilovers - has anyone removed their front sway bar completely? On the FJ forums this seems to be more prevalent, with the recommendation that you only remove the front, and only if you have 700lb or higher spring rate coilovers.
On the driver's side, the sway bar is about half an inch from the support bracket below it, and every pothole is metal on metal banging. I added the washers during the install as recommended by Icon which is what gave me even half an inch of clearance, and my sway bar is centered correctly. I'm not sure what else to do to stop the sway bar from clanging, and I'm not opposed to removing it anyway for the increased articulation and having a true IFS setup.
Any advice or experience shared is appreciated.
