I've been noticing an occasional metal-on-metal "ping" when i hit a large bump or dip at moderate speeds while turning.:...especially tight turns. This started after I installed my LR UCAs. I'm wondering if I changed some sort of geometry in my suspension that could be causing the sway bars to hit the collars when the suspension is compressed or extended while turning. This is pure speculation though (not a mechanic of any sort). Here's a pic of my driver's side in neutral position to show the proximity of the two parts. I couldn't see any signs of impact or damage. So...
-could I be right?
-any other ideas what it is?
-would adjusting my UCAs move the two further away and prevent this? I'm currently at the "D" position.
