That sounds like the best option. Which part number for the Koyo rad and Koyo tranny cooler? Thanks!

I have a '97 4runner with the original radiator. Should I get a new radiator (if so which one?) or should I get a tranny cooler? I don't tow. I'd like to prevent the strawberry milkshake.

Thanks for the link however I have a question. It looks like that radiator is plastic aluminum, I heard that plastic radiators are not as good, is the majority of this radiator aluminum or plastic? I heard the plastic ones are easier to break on the trails.

The stock radiator has plastic tanks. (top and bottom) The core is aluminum.

First gear after strawberry milkshake

I flushed the transmission twice and now my first gear will work when it is cool but then stops working after the transmission warms up. Any thoughts on what could be the problem?
