switch for the rear hatch?

I have a 97 4runner. It rained hear last week in southern California. I left the rear hatch window open. Now the "door open" light on the dash shows the rear hatch is open when it it closed or open. Where the heck is the switch located? Its the same switch that turns the dome light off and on. Anyone know where it is?

Its located in the hatch door latch.

Update. I removed the hatch latch, peeled the rubber backing up and sprayed inside with WD-40. Reassembled and the everything work as it should again.

I gave up on that switch

My cargo lite switch went out years ago. I've taken the switch out lubed it, put back in. Still doesn't work. I can turn the light with the switch so I just left it.
