I'm not great at build threads, i have one somewhere, but hasn't been updated. This here is the Switch Pro from
Switch Pros - Home It's a solid state relay, each up to 15 watts with the last one rated to 30 watts, and just a couple wires running through the firewall. then up the A pillar to the overhead console. It runs on blue tooth if you want to be totally wireless, I have the app on my phone and ipad, so can run the lights from outside of the car if I was feeling frisky, the s-pod has that too, but it costs extra putting the total cost to about the same as the Switch Pro, but again with a bunch of big switches.
I looked into the S-pod, with all the big switches, but I didn't have a place that I wanted a bunch of switches without loosing a cup holder or making a lot of holes. Worth noting, I have a trail, so didn't have a sunglasses holder where the crawl control bits are. Plus these buttons are programmable for ON, Intermittent, and Fast strobe. Also a all on/off function, on with battery, constant, and all off. The panel is backlite and changes when i turn on or off my headlights. But the selling point for me was how small the buttons and control was. Reminds me of our lifeguard trucks.
Install was pretty easy, hard part is wiring the lights!
