That's INSANE Tony!! Like I said, Glad you were in the city and not the back woods with your family.
I have to say, this one scared me! We were driving at 60mph when it started grinding. I stopped, looked for signs of trouble, drive another 20 miles (slower) before it suddenly got really loud and I pulled into a mechanic shop that lifted the front so we could check the play. It's insane that it didn't make the typical whirring noises! Ugh
Ya, I was 64 miles from home. Luckily insurance company covered the bill.
So I think I found the tires and rims I'm going to get once I get the money together. What you guys think?

ray:Took the running boards off today. Damn stubborn bolts! 4 broke, 3 were stripped... Since I had blades for the sawzall to chop the body mount I cut the dirty bastards off too! 
While I was down there I finally removed all the tubing and the reservoir for the X-REAS. So now my frame is nice and empty and ready for some sliders whenever I can afford them. My truck looks so high now! I will post pics in the morning as it is dark thirty right now and Gertrude really needs a bath! I must've dropped 20 lbs of sand off my truck. There was so much trapped up under the running boards and globs stuck on the X-REAS reservoir. lol My driveway looks like a sandbox now! :bump2:

those wheels are nice and simple/ clean looking but if I had to do it all over again on the wheel front, I'd buy method wheels, something like this i think looks real mean and they aren't too expensive.

Looking at those I only see one issue. They don't have the offset I need so I'd be stuck with spacers still. I really want rims that are offset so that I can ditch the spacers. Like these! ATX Series AX186 Slot Black 17x9 6x139 7 24 Offset AX18679060724N | eBay
Oh I'm not scared of the spacer, just would love to not have to use it so it is quicker to take rims off. Lol I have to take 17 bolts/nuts off my spacers right now to get them off completely and it's a serious PITA!

Then I had some fun with Plasti-Dip! First time ever using this, not very difficult. Only thing that was weird is that I have always seen people just pull off the tape and it's fine, but directly after putting on final coat I went to pull tape and it was sticking and pulling the plasti-dip. So I took my razor blade and lightly ran it along edge of tape, then tape pulled off easily. :artist2:

Did a little bumper trimming today. Can't afford an offroad bumper, so I made mine a little more approach friendly.
Then I sprayed rust converter on everything, let it dry, then put a coat of bed liner to make it all nice and black and protected. I've hated that hugely, over-sized bumper since I bought my truck! Never understood the reason for it.
I also put Plasti-Dip over the silver part in the center of my bumper. I like it much more now!

Thanks guys! It just popped into my head all of a sudden so I took tape and marked it all out. My excuse is that if it looks bad then it's more reason for an offroad bumper! Lol
