Looks good man:thumb3: Damn your making me want to upgrade to bigger tires already. And Plans on re gearing down the road?

Yes, it will be a while though. I am in the process of trying to get everything together to buy a house and winter is my slow time of year. When I do it I plan on running 4.88's and lockers. Not sure what kind of locker yet, but it's a must.
I had some time to go down a seasonal road and flex the suspension a little. I then came home and trimmed the rear fender behind the tire as well as the plastic on the front fender behind the tire, above the body mount. I then heated up the pinch weld and hammered on it a little. I need to do it more still but not to much. At full lock the tires are about an inch away from the frame so no issues there. I also have about an inch or so between the tire and UCA.
I was driving through about 5 inches of very wet snow, as it started raining lightly today, and had no issues with traction. I was throwing snow 20 feet in the air and if I punched it I would dig to dirt immediately! Lol, love these tires! I also checked the air pressure and the tire place had them at 50 psi so I lowered them down to 35. I might take them down to 32 but waiting to see how they feel.
Last, I drove to the spot I got stuck at the other day and blasted through it! I was throwing snow and sand everywhere! Was great times. My son had a grin from ear to ear too! :first:

Went for a nice trail ride today, this things a beast! I drove over obstacles that stopped me dead in my tracks before with ease! There's a hill I've been trying to climb for some time that had a big root sticking out, about 2 or so feet high with loose sand and trees all around, and I drove right over it without hardly trying! I do need to pound the pinch welds in more though. I bumped them a few times.
Well, went and screwed it all up now. Buddy of mine didn't realize he was driving by a pond (covered in ice and snow with bushes sticking out) and he bombed into several feet of water. Probably 5 feet deep...
Well I backed up to him trying to pull his truck out of the water a little and after tugging on the strap a couple times facing up hill I broke my rear ring and pinion. Ugh that's what I get for jerking on a Ford! His truck is totaled and now I'm trying to figure out what axle ratio I have so I can get a new one. Not fun.

You've got 3.73s I'm 99% sure, if you've got some spare cash I'd regear to like 4.55s with the 35s

That sucks so bad, if you're gonna do the work anyway you may as well buy bigger gears, but it is pricy!
I know, I want the gears but it's so out of my budget right now! This is out of my budget but it's a necessity right now. I'm having a helluva time even finding 3.73 gears! Everyone has 4.10 and 5.29... I think I'm going to call the salvage yards tomorrow and see if I can find a used one, but it's doubtful.
Maybe I can find front and rear for cheap with a little higher gears... I know Tacoma has 4.10's in them.

I remember seeing some rear 3.73 with e lockers in the classifieds, worth a look
I forgot about looking there! Thanks. I heard from [MENTION=68704]superman3043[/MENTION] that putting the electric locker in is a major PITA! It would be really nice though.

The gears. They are all gone three quarters of the way around the ring. Completely toasted!

Bought a used 3rd member but it is 27 spline instead of the 29 we have on the 4th gens, so I ordered a new flange from East Coast Gear Supply. Damn the waiting!!
