Actually exhaust will be quieter and smoother with the headers. Also, Gibson is on the quieter side to begin with.

So I have an issue I can't seem to figure out. When I turn the wheel it is binding in a certain spot every rotation. The inner steering knuckle is fine, clean, and I am positive it isn't an issue. The lower one is they typical rusty looking, but it doesn't seem to be bound up, but I could be wrong. I sprayed the shit out of it with penetrant, and will continue over the next several days. When someone turns the wheel you can see the shaft turn in an oblong not a perfect circle which leads me to believe lower knuckle again. But, if you come to the bound up spot then turn the steering wheel back and forth it sounds like it is clunking INSIDE the steering rack... I am at a loss and I really hate putting money into these parts when I fully intend to sas this fall. Any experience advice, tips, things to check would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I think I found my abs issue...Front drivers side abs sensor is snapped right off.

Tman you really need some different rear springs. Have you thought about getting the metaltechs or the icon Overlands. Would really help with all the towing you do. Oh and Borla master race, it kicks the crap out of my Gibson I had, no longer get that vacuum sound at high rpm. And I can get that crackle when I'm running it hard and down shift, can't wait to get my headers and new Ypipe. Idk what muffler you have now but any one looking at the Gibson should look at having an exhaust shop install a Borla Pro xs.

Didn't have a choice. It was really wide, to wide. It's a 24x40 greenhouse. Very sturdy.

I don't have that anymore. I have doug thorley headers, dual 2.5" exhaust, magnaflow race series muffler that's dual in/out. No cats either. She's a screamer now!

Update on steering issue. Now after parking my truck, every other time I get in and start it the steering works perfectly, but within 20 get it gets bound up again and is like the is something in the gears inside the steering rack and it is binding up... I'm not pleased, and no money to replace track right now either... Argh!

Consider replacing the steering rack with a CVJ brand or Rack Doctor. I think they can be had for $250 ish.

I'll look it up, my only reserve is that I want to sas and I hate to buy parts only to try and sell them at a huge loss later. But, steering rack is kind of a safety concern too. Maybe I can find one cheap from a junk yard....

Well, figured out its not my steering binding up its a ball joint. Went through some water puddles the other day and the steering loosened up. Noticed it got easier wet so hit some trails and flogged on her a little, now my steering is prefect... Wtf is up with that! Lol
Really love the superbumps I have up front! Soak up hard hits with ease. I'm going to get some for the rear soon because I bottom out quite often back there. 70mph and whoops on a forest trail will do that I guess. Lmfao! :-D

To mount superbumps in the back you are going to need to do some custom work. Here is how I did mine.

Looks good! I was thinking of getting the rear Tacoma ones and welding them on.

That would certainly work, you are paying quite a bit for their piece of metal though and if you have the welder and fab skills, making your own is not much more work. I would try to mount them as far out board as possible instead of just mounting them under the frame to have them engage as late as possible in articulation, which is what I did with mine. I haven't had a chance to beat on mine yet, but they are certainly going to be a great improvement over the stock bumps.
