Ya my buddy and I were looking at that after I posted thinking the same thing, get the regular ones and build our own mount. Why couldn't you just drill a hole and bolt them to the existing plate.
Mounting them out farther is another great idea! I wonder how much more up travel I could squeeze out...
I need to do something, I hit the stock bumps constantly, and they are hard! Flexing I hit, big whoops I hit, drives me nuts that the front is silky smooth and the rear sucks a bag of D&#@s! I just keep telling myself, 1 ton axles with 16" travel ORI-STX-Struts! Makes me giggle a little.... :-D
Great man! I love them so much! I wish I could dyno mine because that open exhaust is unreal compared to stock! A tuner and a day at the dyno would really provide some serious results I bet.
please tell me you have more exhaust videos?
I'll have my buddy record some videos. I keep forgetting. I do have a couple cruising posted further back, and a 0-60.

And yes, my skid plate is that bashed up... Wacked it hard yesterday backing off a log across the trail hill I was trying to climb. No traction control makes for some interesting times figuring out how to make it through and over obstacles. Does surprisingly well though!

Looks weird to still see the trees and grass dead, its been green here for over a month.
Grass is getting green, buds are starting to pop in the trees too, but it's going to be another couple weeks before you can really see it. Supposed to be high 50's all week! Lol
Ok, anyone know if I can wire my led offroad lights, yes with an amber lens, into my turn signal wires directly? Or do I need some sort of relay? I was thinking if I used a wiring harness like you use inside your truck to turn them on, but instead of going to a switch it goes to the turn signal hot wire that should work if you can't wire it directly in. Thanks for any info everyone!

Had a gallon of paint explode in the back of my truck! Argh.... (I'm a painting contractor) didn't get before pics as I was on a mad scramble to hose it down and strip everything out. Then I powerwashed the carpet and actually got most of the paint out. Surprisingly. While I had everything apart I used some sticky flashing that I have heard helps block noise, I will do other parts of the truck as I can. The plastic back there is beat to shit so I decided to plastidip it. I am going to do a few more coats over the weekend and eventually I want to get some matte finish clear coat and seal it

Dude. I am so glad you did this. I was (No shit) going to be be bedlining all of that black my next off weekend. Sorry it happen but I'll be honest. I REALLY dig that.
I want to bedline mine. I think it would help with road noise and such really well plus I wouldn't have to worry about messing everything up back there all the time. I want sure how I'd like it, but it's definitely an improvement!

The body modifications continue.... Damn blinker sockets keep burning out due to water so I decided to turn my lower led lights into turn signals. I will be getting an amber lens for them shortly. I also clipped the drl light so they don't stay on continuously while driving. Unfortunately I had to ditch the fog lights too so I think I'll be be making the it gets cleaned.
