Sometimes I wish. Got the crazy idea about 4 years ago to jump the fence and get my Commission. Left aviation as an AMT1 with just over 10 years as an AMT. Too old for flight school so now I do incident management/response/operation center stuff.

Left the "helo-mech" just to keep all the forums the same. You out at ATC?

no i am the BM type. stuck on a buoy tender for another 2 years, its fun but def not glamorous.
