Forgot to answer you.

I am not sure if this qualifies as a candidate for T4ROTM because he sold his 4 Runner. It is however the most impressive restoration I have seen on a 4 Runner with very good craftsman ship.

I nominate S2KPuddydad for his 88 4 Runner:

I didn't include this nomination simply because he doesn't own it anymore. I think we have to draw the line somewhere haha I don't really care to make "rules" but I think as a minimum the member should own the rig in order to get nominated...Just my thoughts.

1989 4runner
-1994 GM Vortec 4.3l engine
-GM 4l60e built transmission
-4.30 gears
-35" BFG mud terrains
-15x12 Mickey Thompson rims
-4" skyjacker suspension lift
-3" body lift (to clear transmission tunnel)
-Soft Topper soft top
-Havoc Motorsports rock sliders
-Smitty bumper
-B&M shifter
-Bilstein shocks
-Trail Gear tube doors
-Sr5 front and rear seats

Nice rig....but who's is it?? Was it a nomination or just sharing some info??Build thread?? Sorry but I didn't have those answers so I didn't include it.

I believe that's his rig. Doesn't look like he has a build thread beyond posting that list of mods in a few places. I agree very nice runner!

Hey TRDCal, maybe you could make the nominations thread as the first week of the month (make it a clear point, to create a little urgency so it gets done), then the actual voting goes from the 8th day to the end. Make hard cutoffs. Also, like some said, making a post just for the winner of the previous month would be nice--give them their place in the sun for at least a day. Just some ideas...

I believe that too, I just didn't want to start assuming.

Awesome...Next month will try this, first week nominations and the rest voting. I don't know how I'm gonna create more urgency but I'll do my best. Also I'm going to PM the admin and see if he'd be able to put the winners on the home page/side bar for a bit.

Re: May t4rotm

I just wanted to say how difficult it was for me to vote. Great nominations and I actually really like the change now that the generations rotate each month. If you weren't biased to your Gen, this just ensures equality all around. Keep up the great work.

I was thinking like a sales pitch--"limited time offer, get your favorite nominated while you can, closes on such-n-such date"--that sort of thing. When people miss out the first time, they'll remember the next time around.

This is a good idea, it would also keep from getting too many nominations then listening to people complain cuz their nomination didn't get picked for voting

To everyone who has yet to vote: PLEASE look at these members builds in depth, do not just vote on first appearance!!

Slacker, that is a truly amazing 4runner you have and I voted for you because of the insane amount of hours you have put into your truck to make it exactly how you want it. That is seriously an amazing rig. Good job! :bravo:

I don't have time to read thru every thread today so I voted for my personal fav based on picture alone

To each his own, but I was surprised by the amount of work and attention to detail that went into a couple of these rigs. I just meant that you may surprise yourself and find a new favorite after you look into each rig a little more. I know I was surprised and found a new favorite!

Don't know what to tell y'all. I've emailed the admin again. I would contact a mod if I could be it has to be the admin that makes changes to the side bar

Four very awesome trucks. Slacker's is easily the cleanest and best resto of the bunch, but I'm not voting for him because he's a professional and that's not fair. :D

93Toys truck is beautiful, but a little big for my taste. Drz400s is doing a great job on his resto, but I haven't seen any wheeling pics yet. SV gets my vote for having a nice looking rig and well built rig, and USING it.

Good points....this was a hard vote! Professional or no....Slacker's rig is the one I'd steal if I had to choose. All 4 rig's are sweet. I really want a 1st gen now. :fro:

So, how does the sidebar look??

Big thanks goes out to the Admin for all his help!

Very nice, I just came here to post that he made the changes. Yeah he seems to be a pretty cool & helpful guy overall... even if he doesn't own a 4R :keyboard:

I feel stupid after reading that previous post, and have a mild pain in my brain... :bash:

Anyhow... I like the new sidebar :D

^This guy isn't banned yet?^

By the way as far as the sidebar, hate to be a grammar nazi but I believe it should be runners-up not runner-ups
