Yea, that's my only complaint is the lack of the ocean or any (convenient) large bodies of water.

First off...
You all have just killed my bank account for the next who knows how long. I was thinking 35's on a 3rd gen but a SAS with 37 if I read that correct. Holy F batman. There goes about 15k with duel cases.
It is had to choose because there are so many nice rigs to look at and all the hard work you have all put into them. You all give me hope that one day I will get there.

This was the hardest vote I've made in a long time! Everyone shows an amazing dedication to 4runners and what is possible with a little time, effort and (of course,) money!!!! All of these guys deserve our praise!!!! AND please keep posting!! I've used many of these 4runner loyalists advice and experiences over the last 1.5yrs! A BIG THANK YOU, FELLA'S!!!!

out: And the worst part is, there are literally no 4wd 4runners down here. None at all. So, there's little chance of me upgrading to 4wd any time soon. Ironic ain't it? I've seen more 3rd gens down here than just about any other place I've been to, but they're all 2wd. It baffles me why people didn't spend a little extra money for 4wd when they bought the truck. Even if they never needed through the life of the truck, it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it, imo. Lol, anyway... GO LINY4Runner!

I'm sure. It's really strange, I'm in college in Baltimore at the moment and there are almost no 4runners up here. It's mostly sedans lol go figure. I FINALLY get to a place where I can have a hope of owning a 4wd (or at least seeing some), and all I can see for miles around are sedans. Woe is me! Just for curiosity's sake, I've looked around on Baltimore craigslist and there are tons of 4wd 3rd gens generally with less than 150k miles. I found one last week with 86,000 miles but it's gone now, with good reason.
