that lift looks perfect. Any rubbing from the 285s? i'm guessing these wheels are wider or different offset?

thinking of lift on my trail, bilstein 1.75 on the fronts with 285 tires on trail wheels. wonder if will rub...

Rubs a TON when backing up and turning so I'll definitely have to still trim the plastic liner even with the Bilstein 1.75" lift.

The backspacing on these wheels are just a bit less than the stock SR5 wheels were but I put on spidertrax to help compensate and then some.

Thanks guys... really happy with the stance now and love the look of 5-spoke alloys, so it's great that they also happen to be 7.5" wide and bigger than the stock SR5 7" wide rims.

I was worried about trying those rims, since they have 1" more backspacing, and may have been too tucked in, but since the spidertrax helped push it back out, the wider wheels and tires make the stance perfect.

That looks really nice! Planning on the exact same tires but still figuring out the wheels. Lousy 7 inch rims. I will definitely add this as an option.

Thanks, I knew I needed a 7.5" wide rim, but I personally really like the wheels to be "stock looking." There were only a few options for a 17"x7.5" Toyota wheel, but I've always preferred 5-spoke wheels so the Tacoma take-offs were perfect.

Looks good but i prefer your original wheels. they look more retro on the truck.

sorry to bump an old thread but I'm looking for help here.

I scored a really good deal on the same 17x7.5 tacoma take-offs and I want to make a winter set with some 265/70R17 Nokians.

Will the extra width and backspacing cause interference on my 2011 4Runner?

I want to avoid using a spacer if I can.
