Tail Lights LED Project

I've been thinking of this project for a long time. First of all I want to say that this project is completely using stock Toyotas parts, so no warranty problems for those who concerning of doing modifications and loosing the warranty.
Actually I was thinking of doing this by adding some LEDs to the taillights housing, but after a few tries I found that they are not as bright as I want. After some time I found that cdoyle wants to do the same thing as I do, so I contacted him and we've been looking for some LED housing to fit OEM Tail Light housing. He has found one and has done this modification. At the same point I found that '06 model was going to come with LED tail lights, so I've decided to wait. After I saw the OEM LED lights I was so impressed that ordered them at the same day I saw them. After a week time they arrived.
Here they are:

So I opened them and there is the lights out of the box.
They have the same fixtures, so they PERFECTLY fit to original place.

I took of my old ones from the vehicle. It was simple just unplug the connector and then unscrew two nuts holding the light itself.
Here is comparison of both NEW and OLD tail lights:

Well it's good to see that they fit. My only concern now is whether the connectors will have to be changed or whether you will have to re-wire anything to get the LEDs to work. Keep us updated!

Finally done and on truck

After all I just reinstall the new lights to the truck back using the same procedure as I remove the old ones, in reverse directions, of course.
So now my truck looks like

Is the tail housing fastened with any kind of adhesive, or once you removed the bolts - it just came right off?
