Right on. Looks like a new project. Are the Trail ones different from TRD or Limited? I want dark smoke ones, which should I pick?

All of the 14+ tail lights are exactly the same, no more differences.

I recommend picking up a set made by TYC, they're cheaper than the Toyota ones, are indistinguishable from OEM, and already come with the harness needed to make them work.

I deal with a lot of TYC capa parts at work some good some bad. Good to hear the 4R tails are GTG just watch for moisture.

So far so good on the moisture part. I'll be sure to report if I have any problems. Strangely enough, I started getting a lot of moisture in my OEM tails about a week before the switch over.
