Tapping or clicking sound upon startup, then idle stabilizes

Maybe try removing belts one at a time and then listening.

Can't be a bad bearing somewhere, could it? I might be totally off but wanted to at least throw it out there for a conversation starter.

This is just an observation but to me it looked like the cooling fan slowed down at the same time as the noise subsided, if you can verify that as a fact in person it could very well be the fan clutch making the noise.

Other than that before you got the video link to work and without hearing the noise yet I was thinking it maybe "piston slap", so it could be that.

Also, maybe check the timing belt or chain. It could also be the lifters, which make noise until oil pressure builds up.
Sometimes, a worn or misaligned serpentine belt or its pulleys can cause noise at startup. Plus, check your oil level and condition.

5vz is timing belt. No hydraulic lifters.

@ OP if it's your fan clutch that is a quick and easy fix! Aisin fan clutch from RockAuto, 4 nuts, remove clutch, install new one, 4 nuts, boom, done.

Is your engine roaring/noticeably louder than normal?

you can try the steps as listed above, remove a belt at a time, I agree it could be a fan clutch

get youself a piece of hose and hold it on various parts of your engine to listen to...or go to harbor freight or an auto parts store and get a stethoscope

Unless the computer speakers are fooling me... bad bearings "thunk" more than they "tap" or "click," I'm not hearing any of that
