TE w/KDSS and Front Leveling Question ?

Spoke with a Toyota service mgr today who said that adding a spacer to a KDSS equipped Trail Edition to level the front end was not do-able and/or not advisable. He stated that it would likely throw the computer off in regard to the KDSS and ABS and who knows what else that is monitored by the computer(s).
He's a pretty knowledgable guy but I think I've read here that a few folks have leveled up their TE 4Runners, any trouble with the KDSS equipped models and what did you use, ToyTec spacers?

Thanks S1

He is misinformed.

Think of KDSS as nothing more than an adjustable sway bar end link. There is absolutely no harmful effect of lifting up the front end of you truck a bit. However, as with most all IFS vehicles, if you go too high you run the risk of prematurely wearing out certain 4wd components like CV joints, boots and possibly half shaft breakage.

It only takes 1-1.5" added to the front to level out the truck, plenty of people have theirs lifted, myself included, to a greater extent than that with zero issues of any kind.

Ok, so has anyone with a KDSS Trail completed a simple front end lift? If so, what products did you go with and what were your results? Would you do it again?

Also, not to offend anyone but I really hope that only people that own KDSS Trails respond to my particular question.

Thanks

You can use a simple spacer lift from ToyTec, or any other reputable dealer...Or go big with a complete suspension set up from Overland Warehouse, Icon, OME or any other reputable manufacturer...

But, dude, there's a shyte ton of threads about leveling the KDSS equipped TE. Use the search function above, and all your questions will be answered...Honest.

As Feral said... there is a butt load of people who have lifted, leveled, etc Trail Editions with KDSS.... Myself being one of them. No problems on road or off road.

Search around and you will see how many people have lifted vehicles with KDSS.
