Thought I'd go ahead and start my first thread on T4R. I am going tomorrow to have wheels installed and will be adding 5100s all the way around (front set at 1.75") with a Cornfed 1" spacer in the rear this weekend.

Have had my 4R for exactly a month and these mods are about as far as I'm going to go for now. I will add tires in the next few months after I get a good idea of where she sits with the new wheels and lift. Also plan on plastidipping the front emblem and silver bumper inserts black.

I got my parts last week from same places, they were great, had it all in a week. Problem now is install, KDSS confuses the hell out of the Dealerships in my area. You have KDSS?

No KDSS, and me and a couple buddies are installing it at my buddy's shop today....he has a lift thank God :whoo:

Just got the shocks on today, no spacer. Ended up setting them at 1.75"




However now my dash is lit up like a Christmas tree. I saw the Zero Point Callibration thread and tryed the process a couple times. Going to try again in the morning and if I can't figure it out I am going to call the dealership to see if they'll reset everything...

The zero point cal. won't fix those dash lights. It looks like you stretched an ABS sensor wire (haven't installed my lift myself, but apparently it's very easy to do). You'll just need to replace that on the side you stretched and you'll be good to go.

Potentially. That does look like an ABS wire issue.

It more than likely will. Takes a bit of driving for the computer to recognize that all is good, but it's a common issue. Just search "ABS sensor wire 5th gen" at the top and you'll see a bunch of threads on the matter. It should be about $50 for the harness.

They are really fragile- just had the same issue installing 4rnrgrls lift last week!

Just the stockers for now, couldnt make myself buy new tires when I have perfectly good ones. Always been a fan of the BFG KOs so I'll probably buy a set of those when these go bad

Anybody running the Yokahoma 285/65/17s, same height as stock with the much needed width I need for these new wheels. Tried a search but came up with nothing.

yes, there is not much slack on the abs line, I did a suspension install and I disconnected the top bracket so it gave it some more line.
