I couldn't care less who's driving a 4Runner. If they are 16 or 60, it doesn't matter one bit to me. And a sticker (or lack thereof) wouldn't make a difference anyway.

Agree. Bottom line, it's not my money, so i don't really care who is driving. If i was 17 and my parents gave me a 4runner, then i would take it in a heartbeat. It would stupid for me to turn it down just because i did not "earn" it or "work for it." There is more than one way to "earn" something, whether it be through cash or schooling.

Let me give you an example of how much I appreciate a good sound system...I own an iPod Video that I paid $150 for, and the headphones I own originally cost $349 (I only paid $75, but still)...I also own a pair of Bose for my computer that cost like $150 (paid $70)...I have approximately 25,000 songs on my computer...so I'm something of a lover I think?
Now I'm not gonna put in like enormous subs, but the best speakers my money can buy, and you gotta have a LITTLE bass...

Yeah I see what you guys mean. I saved up 17k and my mom doubled the money I had for my graduation present. So I got a sport edition with everything I could afford with 34k. We went through the credit union so I got a 38k truck for 32.7k.
Even though It was partly my graduation present, I don't know anyone else my age who has ever had 17k around here, they all get BMW's and Lexus' for their 16th birthdays. Plus I still pay 600-800 a month to her, on top of paying for everything else all the way down to my food.

uh guess i am snobby. i am 25, is that still consider a teen? i have a 4,000 watt amp pushing one L7 15inch subs. yes, i bump my music loud and proud on the freeway but not on city streets. (looking at my truck) Yes, its lifted about 3"BL & 3"sus a total of 6"? i drive like its suppose to be driven. =) oh i dont even have a T4R.org sticker yet.
truck was modded up by me and paid by me.
all adds up to be a snob? you cant really judge someone. i stop and talk to everyone that ask question about the 4runner. also give advice when i can.
with all that said i dont really care who drives a 4runner. the more the better since it will be easier to find good deals on parts later on. =)

To all you teens out there:
No need to explain yourselves to justify you're not a "spoiled brat". Teens get too defensive. You can claim all you want how you paid for it yourself, etc. But most teens (99.999%) who drive vehicles this expensive have lots of help from the 'rents in one way or another. Remember, unless you were destitute your parents gave you free: roof over the head, food, transportation (before you were licensed), clothing, education, sports, etc. etc. etc. I grew up with a welfare mother and I still thank her for what she's done for me, even though she didn't buy me much or give me any money (for college, high school cars, etc.)
The point is, be thankful to your parents everyday. A "spoiled brat" is a kid who isn't thankful and appreciative of what their parents have done for them.
Drive your Runners proud, just be sure to show gratitude to mom and dad and show them respect by caring for your vehicle, being responsible drivers, and thanking them for your sweet and reliable ride!

i rarely use my computer for music playback (save for work) but my home machine has about 70,000 songs on it of CDs i've ripped or downloaded, not including the 5000+/- records i own.
good to know there's another music nut on the forum.

i have two externals for my music currently and i'm getting a 1 terabyte external to back all of them up... between the digital files and records, it's become a bit obsessive :bash:
being 12 and not having a license, i had to beg my parents to buy me a 4runner and let me drive illegally, luckily i havne't been pulled over and i even convinced them to install me brand new subs amps nad speakers in ym car. im about top ut a supercharger on it also for my 13th birthday.
lol, naw im kidding. tahoe was cool by the way, I used my chains once for like 1 mile, and couldnt' take the seizure of the car. So I took them off and the only day that it was actually snowing, I made my other friends drive. When I drove back, I just missed the snow.
