Give it a good soak with some penetrating oil.
Or, maybe, try using a longer breaker bar for more power.
If that doesn't work, a bit of controlled heat from a torch can sometimes help to expand the metal and break the bond.

The bolt holding the tensioner to the engine is not reverse thread, it's a normal bolt..... however the bolt holding the actual "pulley" to the tensioner is a reverse thread bolt, this is the bolt going through the bearing of the pulley.

In the video if you watch closely you can see him "break" the bolt loose manually before pulling the trigger on the impact ratchet to remove the bolt and he turned it counterclockwise to break it loose.

I appreciate the suggestions / advice. Was able to break it loose and then remove the bolt.

Finally making my way to put this thing back together and as careful as I've been, somehow misplaced one of the following stud bolts.. anyone have any idea what size/where I can pick up a new one?

Found a reference to #90116-06144 here Stud Bolt #90116-06144 | Autoparts.toyota.com - but not sure where I can pick a new one up..

That's a very specialized bolt/stud you have misplaced, going to be very hard to find a new one, which would be only from the dealer.

If I were you I would either FIND that bolt/stud you lost or start searching salvage yards.

The only other suggestion would be find some metric threaded rod the correct thread, cut it too length and use a couple of nuts!

Yeah I'm not entirely sure how that happened. After hours of looking through the garage for it and not finding it, I'm almost questioning if it was there to begin with.

I am going to start an individual post about the bolt in hopes someone can help identify it.

Make sure you post measurements of the bolt, the more detailed the better.

So what's the final word? Is it reverse thread to remove the pulley or not?
