TEP Vinyl for Roof Rack

First off yes I looked/ searched and I DO remember seeing it here but each result had like 32 pages average to look through....

Anyhow, I'm looking to wrap my roof-rack on my TEP with that vinyl that folks here have used successfully, I believe it was on ebay from the link I clicked on at some point.

For those of you that have used it.
1) Are you happy with results
2) Would you do it this way again?
3) Do you want to sell what you have left over?

i believe it was his first experience using vinyl wrap, turned out pretty good, couple a minor creases and a little bit of silver exposed on the in inside near the edges of the crossbar slot.

i will be trying this out sooner than later, let us know how it turns out and any helpful hints you discover

I wrapped by rails two days ago, it was pretty easy. I used 3m flat black wrap. I would do it again and I'm satisfied with the results for sure. I don't have to worry about it in a year or two like I would if I plasti dipped them

I'd invite you to think about powder coating if you want to make the change and have it last. Powder is tough stuff and holds up extremely well with both UV and contact damage.

my buddy had his silver bumpers and roof rails on his trail, wrapped in vinyl. The rails came out pretty nice... couple of tiny creases near the end caps...but i was looking at them knowing they were wrapped
If i didn't know, i wouldn't have noticed at all....
Another option would be to look for a 2010-2013 trail rails. i believe they were black from factory.

I painted my end caps and wrapped the rails in vinyl, came out awesome.
