Texas 4runner meet up?

I don't know If I will be able to get there that early...might be early or later in the afternoon before I get there...

I will be monitoring 2M frequencies 147.26 and 145.23 with a PL tone of 100Hz, if you have HAM. Other than that, ask at the pavilion what CB channel Mr. Leary and gang is running on. I will make sure a few TTR guys at the pavilion know where we are planning on going and what channel we will be running. Emergency channel for the event is channel 4, but different groups will be running respective alternate channels. I tend to favor channel 21 when I don't run channel 4.

None of the trails are long enough to where we wouldn't be able to swing by the pavilion occasionally, no worries.

Will there be some organized trail rides on Friday, or just guys out on their own, do you know?

There will be some pseudo organized runs, but I think the Official runs are happening saturday and sunday. There will be lots of folks wheeling friday.

If I'm going to wheel with you guys it will have to be on friday. On saturday I wille be leading trail runs and on standby as a rescue truck.

10-4, I will try to sign up for your group on the trail rides. Hopefully 1 and 2 diamonds?

I'm not sure what level I will be leading. I told them I could lead beginner and intermediate runs or a run for guys pulling trailers.

When we get the group together we can decide where to go based on rig and driver capabilities of the group. Ones and twos will be most likely. There are usually much more people interested in lighter wheeling in the groups. The guys who like the more extreme stuff know the park anyways and just go do thier own thing for the most part.

We will manage, and if you're interested in pushing your rig a little, I would be happy to take you down some trails that are a little more challenging, but still within the realm of what you would reasonably find while traveling in the back country.

Crickets?

Is this thread still going? I'm a new T4R owner and would really like to meet up with some other owners and hit a few trails. I'm a relatively new Texas implant so I don't know where many places to go are.

We can set up a meeting at Toyota of Dallas pretty much any time. I'm sure TRDParts4U would be glad to host a meet and greet.

I'm pretty busy the next few weekends, but we could try to put something together later this spring.
