Texas 4runner meet up?

stock 4wd - is it enough?

Count me in. North Arlington.

Question:

I have a stock 4wd 2001 Runner. I do not have my 3inch coilovers yet. Will I still be high enough to handle Bridgeport? All I have added so far is the Rocky Road sliders.

What is the minimum equipment list I need to have in the tool bag and mods to the runner before I go?

Here is the list of our required equipment for company led overland trips:

REQUIRED FOR EVERY TRIP
•Front and rear vehicle recovery points, high strength
•Rugged clothing, appropriate to duration and weather conditions
•Camping gear: for cooking, sleeping, and relaxing
•Food: high-calorie, non-perishable items are best
•Water: one gallon per person, per day, is mandatory
•Maps: digital or paper in road or topo, for region of trip
•Spare key, hidden outside of vehicle
•Portable light source w/ batteries
•Emergency contact, family or friend
•Basic first aid kit
•Cash

I have colored the items in RED that will not be required for a short jaunt to Bridgeport. All others should be considered mandatory and would be a good idea to keep in your vehicle at all times.

I'm a tentative yes. It depends on if my son drives back home to MS that day or the next day. I definately want to go to the meet and greet.

So let's say:
Me and 2 sons, 2011 SR5.

Ok guys. I need more people to confirm attendance or I will have to cancel this thing. Sorry... but two guys showing up isnt exactly a meet and greet.

I would love to head over there from Shreveport but it would have to make sure you guys would be fine with having to possibly get me unstuck a few times, only 2wd.

Its on the 25 correct?
