Wow that dude took excellent care of your truck for you.

At your mileage the ball joints and other front end pieces need replaced, likely tie rod inners-possibly outers. Definitely the ball joints, don't just have them looked over sir-please please replace them.

Fluids flushed every year-that dude is on it...

jakov-my 99 SR5 also has leather seats and roof and rear locker-it was optioned out nicely. Mine also a salvage-you can see why folks do not give up on the 3rd gen Runner....

Swap out the pass side seat bottom for the drivers side if you want the uncracked side to get more wear if you see what I mean.

Check out the Ford guy across the street ogling your ride- you know that dude is jealous as all get out.

Even that interior wood trim looks well done for its age- a bit darker than the later models had. Nice SR5 flares in good shape.

Beauty in white, like mine- almost too pretty to truly off road in, but do not let that stop you...

Just got back from the 1100 mile round trip truck ran great not he fastest but cruised at 70-80 no problem and i averaged 20.5 MPG which i thought was pretty good.

-I am not sure why it has leather? why wouldnt it? i have the original window sticker somewhere i will have to look it up.

I do have a a question and i thinki know the answer but i am new to these trucks. Now i did the front rotors no more shimmy when braking however while driving at speed i do get a shake in the steering wheel at certain speeds basically around cruising speed. For example at 78mph its super smooth at 72 not so much. I have been through the front end and i know some bushings i will be replacing in time shortly but when the front end is jacked up there is no play anywhere so im gonna get the front wheels balanced first, then move on to ball joints (since one has a slight tear inthe boot ) then i'll move on to tie rod ends. Does this seem to be the right order or the order some of you would take given everything looks tight and clean?

sometimes only the limited has leather, well i live in a place that is too cold and very very hot in summer sometimes more than 100 degrees, so leather is cool but not for me AND my place... I pm you but no get response, im still waiting for that car fax :

Leather was a factory option trim on the SR5. Mine has it.('99)
