Hey everyone

Just picked up my 2015 TE yesterday, and am excited to be a part of the group! This is my first truck, and I'm looking forward to the build!

Picked up yesterday from Antioch Toyota

2015 Trail Edition w/KDSS

8/15/15

Right when I got home, and with only 40 miles on the odometer, it was time to switch out the wheels/tires for something more suiting,

Stealth Custom Series SR8 fitted on BFG K02 275/70/17.

Note on fitment:
I had to remove the front splash guards as I was rubbing at full lock, and need to trim the front bumper as I'm currently rubbing when in reverse.

Installing a Gentex mirror. Will post pics when I'm done.

Nice Ride!
If I may ask, what was the price? I am in the market myself and trying to get a price I can live with. Seems cost is all over the place here, but it being August and they are clearing out inventory over at Toyota, pricing might be good right about now.

my OTD price was $40,500. Dealerships are ruthless in Northern California, and I was lucky that my dealer was willing to work with me on pricing. All other dealers I was looking at in the area wouldn't budge from their online price, and kept explaining how there's no need to do a fire sale on these trucks. Good luck on your search!

Are you rubbing because of the new wheels? I thought those tires would fit with no issues.

It all comes down to how aggressive the tire is. Had I been using a passenger tire like the ones the truck comes with, I probably would be in the clear. Looks like I'll need to trim a couple inches or so in order to allow for turning full lock on reverse...or just get a lift :)

Rims look good. I like how you didn't default to black.

Thanks! I'm really digging this color as well. Vin at Stealth Custom Series produced this finish as a limited edition run, and I'm hoping he brings it back as a permanent option so others can have it as well.

Hmm, thats strange. According to the tire chart, you should be fine.

Is the offset on the new wheels the same as stock?

Those wheels are awesome! i was looking into getting those for my truck but never seen them on a 4runner till now. So tempting...

Offset is -10mm with a 4.3" backspace...that can be one of the reasons why I'm rubbing against the front bumper. After a little trim problem is solved.
