Do you know how many of the holes for your front skid are shard with the 4 that the OEM one uses?

I only have two usable screw holes left as far as my stock skid goes. Trying to see if aftermarket uses different ones so I don't have to fix them lol.

Yes these are steel ones; powder coated in TRD Grey
These are more like 80 to 100lbs... You'll see what I mean

Damn bro it uses all 4 ... 2 = 14mm's and 2= 12mm's

If you was close I'd help you out drill and tap them out with you

Thanks for answering, much appreciated. I heard the TRD skid uses completely different holes, which got me started on this line of thinking. My stock skid is about toast anyway, so I'm trying to check out different aftermarket sets to see if I can avoid the extra work if I can.

I finally got around to relocating my rear camera. Using the instructions from Victory 4x4 but using the C4 relocation kit. I modified it to my liking. Just need to hook up with a welder to fabricate real bracket for the camera...

But here's what I got ...

ran Cold Water Canyon 3N06A in Lytle Creek and laid my eyes one of the best camping spots in the whole area. Luckily its alittle rutted to get up there. Went up with a guy from Temecula in his hooked up GX470...

Installed my Group 24F AGM battery w/ $5 Voltage Booster resistor

VI never realized the AGMs don't charge properly without the booster. A few months ago I did the Dirty Parts booster to keep the fuse protection for that circuit. Did the 4th gen as well. Works great. AGM is good for offroading too. The open wet cells don't like the abuse.

The hardest skid install EVER!!!

Harder than CBI front skids or the Gas tank Skids...

But it's the last skid I need ...

NOW !!! Im ready to tackle John Bull at the end of the month. And Gold Mountain and maybe if we have time little John Bull tomorrow...

I finally conquered Gold Mountain and took off the bucket list.

There was damage done. But it was completely my fault. I was not watching my mirrors and I backed into a tree stump on the 2nd obstacle to get a better angle of attack. On what was suppose to be the harder line. The easy line is NO longer the easy line. The line on the right ( easy line) has a DEEP rut in front of a HUGE boulder and another DEEP rut after the boulder.
The harder line is now the easy one. We had to winch my buddy up and I have to actually do a slow bump to get up.

and since we scrapped the paint off the new differential skids and the gas tank skids. And I received my TRD Grey spray paint. I rattle canned them when I got home. After getting an ear full from the wife about damaging the Rocky...

My buddy in his 4th Gen V8 w/ center diff lock only. Now disclaimer !!! my buddy has ten billion more experience than me ... And has done this trail with his Locked Taco 12times. And it was his first time wheeling his 4runner.

Morale of the story is the trail changes all the time ... the easier lines becomes the hard ones. because it gets used. Its a different beast every time

Installed blacked out AlphaRex halogen headlights and harder wired HID's in them. And put Hella Narva Gold high beams ...

Waiting for darkness to adjust the head lights. Either way she looks good. Waiting for my Diode Dynamics new fog lights to come
