I'm 1.5 hrs away in Spartanburg with a '19 Pro. Have you ever thought about making a wind fairing or cross bars for our OEM roof rack?



I'd be interested in making it actually useful and more unique.



Baja has an insert, but then there's no room for anything.



Let me know, I'd take a drive up there so you can see it.

Haven't tried mounting on the factory side rails? I'm happy to test!

It'll have to be cut down pretty substantially to fit.

I realized after futzing with the box and bike tray setup over the weekend that the best way to fix is add the standard wind fairing and use some carriage bolts and threaded knobs (on the inside) to mount the yakima box. I'd be curious if anyone has already gone this route?

The yakima clamps fit ok around the LFD bars but are super close to the roof. Using them also requires that the front bar be run all the way forward on the factory rails, which creates even more wind noise, even with the yakima box mounted!!

LFD, even if the one piece fairing/crossbar fit the factory rails, it would be really difficult to mount/tighten the front bolt.

Thanks for the offer. It's a fairly long box and had to push it forwards to clear the lift gate while open. The clamps only move/adjust so far fore/aft so I'll run it with the bolts (I'll drill holes wherever works best) and fairing on the front bar.

Hoping to pick up a fairing and wide skid as soon as they're ready

Any plans on making some "smaller" armor pieces any time soon?
I've been pleased with your products and customer service and figured I'd ask before I looked elsewhere.

Thinking about:
Lower Link Skids - passenger side in particular takes a beating.

Rear Shock Mount Skids - because sometimes tires slip (or maybe my line/placement sucked). Plus now I have nice new shocks.

Rear Differential Skid - now that I'm finally lifted the rear diff suddenly hangs down... not sure about this one on cost vs need... plus not sure about jacking with the diff after putting on a skid, but thinking about it.

That’s great news, because there is nothing in the drop-in rack market that makes sense for replacing the Pro racks now. Zip. Nada.

I’d LOVE a complete drop-in rack replacement for my TRDP’s factory rack.

Anything short of that, to enhance its function/appearance/utility is well worth a look as well.

A drop-in, low profile full rack replacement would be ideal. If anyone ever makes this, they’ll have me on their customer list for sure.

I installed a set of five LFD ruggedized crossbars on my 4R this week, and am super happy with them. Nice job, [MENTION=444815]LFD_Off_Road[/MENTION]!

It is hard to see in this picture, do the crossbars clear the antenna? Just making sure if I mount a thule box that the antenna wont be in the way.

I'm doing these crossbars mostly as a way to secure an arb awning

It does clear the 2014+, but the 2010-2013 sharkfin is a bit taller and it does stick up above slightly above the mounting plane.

Haven't looked at lower link skids or differential skids yet. We do have some rear shock mount prototypes that just finished up production last week though

I certainly hope all at LFD Offroad are ok but I am not sure I would do business with this company again.

I sent a few emails asking if they had what I want in stock and they were quick to respond that they did and I certainly got the email that my stuff was paid for but I have not heard a peep from them since.

I have sent two emails in the last 9 days, one inquiring about some bolts I may need and another letting them know I have not heard anything about my order...

Sorry to hear that. How have you been reaching out? I haven't seen any unanswered emails that I'm aware of.

ETA pretty sure I found your order, it is in the stack shipping today. Our shipping queue runs around a week for in stock items. I don't see any emails in our system though still. What address did you send them to?
