i did not start the car or turn the wheel or anything, however in the process of trying to get the ball joint separated there was a great deal of banging/pusing/pulling/cursing and wrestling with the control arm, so maybe that could be the reason. i have the measurements in the garage, i keep forgetting about them.
i have a feeling they will change the story again as well, but that is why i wrote down the ladys name and everything she said to me. so IF something does change, im gonna say "remember.....". so hopefully that all works out...
loner, i suppose you have pursuaded me, im gonna order them on sat when im at the dealer. i was leaning towards ordering some from jegs or someplace aftermarket to maybe get a better quality brand. when replacing parts i usually always try to upgrade them in the process, but maybe the dealer will just be an easier route. im already exhausted with this whole project.. but ill take your word for it, and hopefully as long as im careful i wont need an aignment or anything else afterwards. i still need to do my 500 mile check up and make sure everything is tight and good, so i might as well just do it. i have to try to get my hands on that other ball joint puller (not the fork one) as i hear its much easier. autozone only had the fork kind last time i went there...
